Get your claims sorted quickly and easily with your own claims person. Claims will be paid within 48hrs after we receive the documents and your claim is approved.

To help with your costs, we’ll pay you a double benefit if the claim is a result of an accident. This applies to both the main member and nominated spouse.
Cover up to R100,000
You can get cover up to R100,000 (each) for the main member and spouse and up to R50,000 (each) for other family members.
Protect up to 24 additional members; including your spouse, children, parents and extended family as well as one domestic worker as most of the time, they’re like family too.

Yes. The main member (policyholder) nominates who receives the benefit in the event of them passing away. The main member receives the benefits if any of the other insured family members die.
The main member (policyholder) is paid out if one of the insured members dies. If it’s the main member who passed away, the payout goes to a beneficiary who was nominated by the main member. We will always pay the nominated beneficiary on the policy.

We will pay out within 48hrs of receiving all the necessary documents and once your claim has been approved (i.e. death certificate, IDs and banking details).

An amount ranging from R10,000 to R100,000 is paid out, depending on the amount of cover chosen, in the event of a death due to natural causes or an accident. The benefit will be doubled should the main member or nominated spouse die as the result of an accident.
There is no limit on the number of policies held, but the maximum accumulated benefit payable per insured person is R100,000 for death by natural causes, or R200,000 for an accidental death.

We understand this is not something you want to worry about. So you can cover up to 4 children automatically in the ‘family’ & ‘member and kids’ funeral plans and add a further 5 children for an extra charge per child – providing cover for up to 9 children on your funeral plan.

Sure thing, but you need to notify us within 3 months so that we can add the child to your policy. If the child is added at a later stage, a waiting period for natural death will be applied.
Yes, no problem at all. Simply add him/her as an extended family member.
The child will be taken off the family funeral plan and needs to purchase their own policy, unless they are a full time student or mentally or physically disabled. If they’re a full-time student, they can stay on your policy as a child member up until the age of 25. If they are physically or mentally disabled, they can still be covered on your policy after reaching the age of 25, as an extended family member.
We cover you no matter what. If you are the main member, your family has the option to continue it. This means your spouse (or if there is no spouse, the oldest family member over the age of 18) has the option to become the main member and continue cover by informing us. In this instance, no new waiting periods will apply. However, the balance of any original waiting periods will apply. This option to continue the policy is valid for a period of 3 months after the death of the main member and we will inform the new main member of the monthly premium to continue the cover
Not to worry. We will just do a double debit on the first working day of the next month.
Yes, there is a 1-month grace period, but your policy will be cancelled if you miss 2 premiums in a row.
